Odin has brought in another fish, gives a shouting noise, sounds as though the intruder is about. Quite .windy conditions. EJ hesitates before feeding 3 hungry mouths

Perhaps no intruder, just talking to EJ who ignores him. Has now flown off and EJ feeds the "giants"

Happy family ... Fish delivery and Odin stood watching for a while!

EDIT ... one of the chicks isn't interested in eating ... excellent sign of an abundance of food!

Odin really does have a piercing screech, as someone said earlier.  He stayed a while to watch proceedings, but has now flown off again.

Two hungry  mouths  !!!!!!!!!!!!!  What is going on with Eldest . This is the second fish she is ignoring  . Has she eaten at all today   ??  I am seriously concerned.

EDIT   I wish we'd get a Blog telling us this kind of stuff

In all yesterday Odin brought 7 fish to the nest.  A very nice person at LG told me this when I phoned to ask about volunteering.

Mssed what happened to you Margobird, did you have a fall, I know I'm being nosy. Don't worry if you don't want to indulge but hope you are feeling much better now.  I remember getting ready to go out on Fathers' Day 2 years back, tripped , fell against the bureau and made a slit at the top of my forehead. Went for the meal but wouldn't stop bleeding so had to be taken to A&E to be seen to. Quite an episode. Sorry getting away from the main subject which is EJ and family.

#1 , I think, has opted out of a feed and #2 and Titch are tucking in, EJ spooning the fish into them relentlessly.

i don't think there's any reason to be overly concerned, it's not as if the chick is not growing or not moving around the nest, and he's more than happy to squirt his waste products at the camera..

i think it's more than likely that he had his fill earlier in the day when the cam was off, and he just wasn't hungry

Feed has finished, two stuffed chicks and #1 is up and preening, actually #2 is as well before flopping again.
