Good morning all. Its been a miserable day at LG with rain most of the time.
EJ keeping her brood warm and dry and at the moment looking towards the camera. Hi EJ.
Hope Odin can bring in the goods tomorrow, he was superb today despite the weather.
Happy watcing.

Everyone's done a marvellouse job of news an pics - many thanks
This just in case it's missed - a thin fish delivery
EJ still thinks there is an intruder about. Little ones prefer to ask for food.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Oh, snap Heron. I should have known someone would have been on the ball.
EDIT I don't think EJ wants to expose the chicks to the rain - hope Odin leaves the fish
Odin brought a fish, but EJ only peeped slightly - think she didnt want to get up off the chicks in this rain:
---now he's flown off with it!
Did Odin chase intruder? And is that really the fish at the side? Didn't think it was so thin!
OK, that's a stick lying there! Hope he brings the fish back - he usually does, eventually.
Wasn't a huge fish, OG. No sign of intruder now: think he's just gone to eat some of it as it had the head on. (the fish, that is !)
I get the feeling that while this rain's fairly heavy EJ will concentrate mostly on keeping the chicks sheltered and only call for food if the weather calms down, and or and possible intruder threat seriously diminishes.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I see an intruder has been back while I've been out ... but all seems quiet now ... in the rain :-(

Morning all: Brilliant commentary and pix this morning; some funny (Heron: Tonnage? Had to laugh at that.) Thanks for all. Cirrus: I haven't been watching as much as last year when I was trapped in the spare bedroom during the kitchen remodel, but did think EJ was "quieter," but also thought that maybe she was calling less because Odin was being so prompt with fish deliveries. This is their second year right? Maybe she knows he's a dependable lad and so not as much need to shout? Or maybe she has a touch of laryngitis(sp?) what with all this rain. And, of course, I could be totally wrong (it has been known). All quiet on the nest now and EJ - at least from this angle - looks like she's figured out how to sit on the chicks more comfortably.
