There is just no way I'm going to get all of this lot underneath me any more.......
Jsb - those stats surprised me - I had forgotten just how young these chicks actually are! They are not just big, they seem so well co-ordinated and alert for such a young age.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Now she is food shouting again....

Good morning Lindybird lovely pics, they are huge and at the moment EJ have given up trying to get them underneath. EJ calling at the moment so I wonder if Odin is around with a fish. These chicks are so forward in size and now trying to do housework as well.
Margobird
Look at the size of them, OG !

Morning Brenda I will enjoy my day and everything crossed for no rain. Lovely pics this morning.
Thanks for the stats jsb it is going to be very interesting when they are ringed etc to see how much they all weigh.
Thanks Heron 77 and I was a pity we didn't get a photograph but didn't want to move about too much and frighten him off. He really was a magnificent sight though. Think he has been again in the night but didn't catch sight of him this time but he obviously feasted on peanuts again.
EJ has ants in her pants this morning she has just left the nest again. Perhaps she is looking for Odin.
I had to take a phone call and thought I had missed a fish as I could hear EJ calling, but no fish.
EJ has left the nest again. The nest still looks damp.
EJ beginning to call softly. Is that Odin in the tree in the distance - a white speck- or just a gap in the trees?
EJ off out again, chicks doing what chicks do. And back she comes, telling the chicks she's home again. Chicks get up thinking its feed time - but not yet.
