EJ is having a funny moment. Chicks tucked under her.
Happy watching, back in the morning.

Was that another delivery???
EJ is certainly getting down to it and feeding them like an express train before they get too damp. The chicks are clamouring for more but no, she says thats enough for now. and tries to settle them down again. Under the umbrella kids and keep warm.
With every feed it's more of a struggle for EJ to fit them under her:
They really are getting big, aren't they? I can only tell #3 apart because he/she hasn't got the gold nape yet. When we worry about the weather we should remember that ospreys are built for fishing, which is a fairly wet occupation if you're going for total immersion! As long as EJ can keep the babies dry until they exchange their down for feathers, all should be OK
Bless, she is sitting firmly on those chicks and keeping them warm and dry. Let's hope the weather is better tomorrow.
Hi everyone. Thanks for all the updates, pics etc. Just logged on about 8pm so I've enjoyed reading through the posts while watching the nest. Wow! those chicks are geting big. Doesn't seem five minutes ago since they all looked tiny and we could only just about see #3. :-)Night cam's just came on.BTW has anyone else stopped getting email alerts from this thread at around 7.25am BST?
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Gone to night vision and all is peaceful on the nest.
I'm going to 'put the weights up' on little Titch over a little incident yeaterday which seems to have gone unnoticed by most watchers. I saw it, but didn't have the blog open, so didn't comment at the time. EJ was off the nest briefly, with chicks #1 and#2 sound asleep, side by side. Titch was facing them, and woke up when Mum left. She moved forward, gave a sound peck to each of her siblings, then got her head down quick, pretending to be asleep! Of course, each of the siblings thought the other had pecked them for no reason, so it was on, over the top of the 'innocent' Titch! LOL!
Smiles, Jan.
Yes, Herron77, I had no alerts overnight (our time) from this website.
Odin arrives with a good sized fish.
Wow, Odin even delivers them in the dark. Fish #6:
Did Odin deliver again, or is that leftovers. It looks fresh. Anyhow EJ is feeding them like theres no tomorrow and the chicks are ready for it. At least it looks as though its stopped raining now.
