EJ is having a funny moment. Chicks tucked under her.
Happy watching, back in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Hello. Came on this morning to see a damp EJ on the nest:
--- the rain doesn't seem to have dampened the Cuckoo !!
The chicks are having a chunner and EJ is tucking them under again. They still want to peep out - no getting back under in the warmth. She looks a little soggy, good ol mum.
Meanwhile at LOTL the chicks are being fed, so doesn't look like rain there.
Morning all and thanks for all the overnight commentary and early morning reports and pics. Odin is doing really well fishing in this weather so looking forward to another fishtastic day.
'fishtastic' -- that's a great word, Alan and let's hope that it is a fishtastic day in spite of the rain.
EJ just had a big wing flap, flew off for a break, and is back. All three chicks alert now, probably waiting for elevenses... Rain must have eased as she's preening at the side of the nest.
EJ just had a swift break, chicks were alert. Now settling them down again. Still damp there.
EJ calling, they want their elevenses?? #1 , I think, is outside the comfort of mum and looking around., inbetween dozing.
Now tucked under mum, but there seems to be some sort of conversation going between chicks. Funny sort of highpitched chirps.
Thanks for all overnight / morning reports and pictures.
Still raining. Poor EJ desperately trying to keep the family dry.
