Well it is still raining and poor EJ after almost a midnight feast for her and the chicks it started again.
Do hope today proves to be better than yesterday although listening to the rain you do wonder.
Good morning to all you who watch from overseas and keep us informed whilst we are in our beds.
Goodnight from me and goodnight from EJ.

Cirrus - that pic was just for you ... I know you worry! Titch got loads of food yesterday ... usually managed to get to the front of the queue ... if not, EJ always had plenty of fish for the one at the back :-))

I'm not around much now until later this afternoon ... a friend calling in for gossip and cuppa this morning and another friend this afternoon! I leave it to someone else to keep an eye on happenings on the nest :-)
Hooray and good morning all and after a lovely meal with friends last night back to osprey watching. Thanks to all for the pics and what warmed my heart most was the fact that in the awful weather conditions at LG all chicks have been really well fed with Titch getting his share as well, even a midnight feast. What wonderful parents EJ and Odin are. EJ sitting in torrential rain which from the posts I can see they had last night at LG and wonderful Odin managing to fish successfully for his family. I will never stop marvelling at EJ and Odin. So pleased that Titch is successful most of the time and as someone posted they are all developing their own characters with Titch being another Garten when it come to food. I hope they will get some dry weather but as you say DjoanS it doesn't look good.
Thanks to all for pics especially feeding times I am so grateful. Have a good day all.

Raing yet again at LG poor EJ she must be fed up with being wet all the time. She steadfastly sits there keeping her 3 chicks warm, bless her.
Hello. Have not read the above posts, yet, but EJ is sitting on the nest looking rather damp although its dry at the moment. Mr. Cuckoo has been singing away, along with the chorus of others, and now EJ has just started calling, too. In between we can just hear the peeping of the chicks.
EJ is peeping quietly, so don't think she can see him yet:
Fish delivery well done Odin.
Feeding time!:
EJ discovered a left over fish under some nest material and she is feeding the chicks. All are getting their share
EJ had taken a comfort break and discovered the fish when she returned
I hope the fish had not gone bad
