Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Bye Sandra and thanks a lot.

Just reading the diary and Lady has not been seen this afternoon. Wonder if today is the day she has decided to break all our hearts by leaving. I know this seems a bit over the top but she has become a very special osprey to me. Her beauty, dedication and amazing recovery from illness has made her even more special. I did not see this morning and find it hard that I might not see her again unless by some miracle she does return to Loch of the Lowes nest year.
OH Margo.
I am feeling so low and weepy thinking that she might have left.
Like you, I love that Wonderful, Precious and Elegant Lady of the Loch! She is a strong willed bird and a true fighter to be able to overcome that dreadful illness that nearly took her away from us.
So strong willed to be able to see her young grow and then fledge and even seeing them trying to fish, from her favourite branch!!
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Chick 2 just landed and calling.
No Lady on her branch at 6:15pm :-(
Just saw something flying past then.
Good evening Sandra, have read the diary and blogs but nobody mentions seeing our precious Lady. I suppose we won't know for sure until tomorrow now. Very sad myself after watching all the drama when she was so ill. I spent most of that terrible weekend in tears. If indeed Lady has left my thoughts and prayers are with her to reach her destination safely, the worst thing is we will never know unless by some miracle she returns next year. We have lots of memories and thanks to you a lot of pictures of Lady, Laird and their family.
I have only just tried to catch up on the blogs. I can't remember which year, but at LG, EJ went missing for a few days and they thought she had left but she reappeared at the nest before she migrated. They reckoned she had been feeding herself for a few days before she left. Lady may not have left yet.
I am feeling so choked to see the nest so empty!!
This is so late for me, but I had to come on and see if our family were around!! I will say good night.
Good Night Sandra and Thank you.
