Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.

Some more exercising and it went from the right hand side to the left. Bit hazy with the distance cam.
Looks like a fish delivery and a lot of fuss about it.Not too clear but there are arguments going on if only we could convey sound.
Thought you might like to see this picture of Lady Marge flying (Sat 10 July).
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
OG: Lovely shot - your camera, right.
Thanks SO MUCH for lovely news and exciting videos, Chloe and Lofty! (Wish we had a distance cam at LG) :-)
Its been a terrific day on the LOTL nest. Only a few weeks ago things were looking so desperate and now we have two grown juveniles ready to become independent and a brilliant photo of Lady in flight. Thanks a million for that Original Goldfinch and for all the posts, pics and videos by everyone else today. Certainly a day to remember. Catch up with you all tomorrow after work. Goodnight. Emma

evening all. All quiet on the nest. Two chicks and one Mom. What adventures does today have in store?
Two chicks still on nest; got busy so didn't catch any fish deliveries. G'night all.
Alone on the nest at 6:30.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
