Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Just logged in again after being out for a lot fo this afternoon and it is still so good watching Lady and her ever improving health. Apparently she had been down tothe Loch several times and had a bath. Probably made her feel even better. The youngsters all quitet as I look at the moment but i know they and Lady have been well fed today. Peter and Fiona are not stopping overnight as they feel much more relaxed about her now although there is always someone there and of course the cameras are on. It is a measure of how much better Lady is and in such a short time.
By the way tnanks for all the posts and pics.

Home alone! Not sure if Lady is in her favourite place or gone fly-around!
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Believe it or not, but that is our chicks looking out over the loch in the centre of the nest!!
A bit hard to see though. :-)
9:45pm and no sign of mam or dad and the chicks are sleeping.
I have to go now.
Mam just flew in as I was closing off :-)
Thanks, Sandra, good to know she got back "safe and sound". Goodnight.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Morning everyone. I'm up late due to various celebrations and thought I would add an update to this thread before I turn in. Great to see Lady recovering so well if always tempered with caution. Delighted that the LOTL staff can sleep easy tonight. She has confounded the experts and is truly magnificent. Her mate has played his part in rearing the chicks which as others have said is also to be commended. At present, only the chicks are on the nest so Lady is probably roosting on her favourite perch. It has been exceptionally warm here today and this is a great opportunity for the parents to let their offspring chill out.....Catch up later - off to sleep. Emma
Evening all: Just chicks on nest right now.
Wrinklie: Thanks for info that LOTL chicks have been ringed in the past. I gather they're hoping to satellie tag them in 2011.
I was going to say that Lady had arrived - but it was one of the HUGE chicks up and flapping!
Daylight cam and color at LOTL; all still quiet on the nest where two chicks are snoozing. No sign yet of Lady who is probably nearby.
