Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Yes, bit of confusion, who is feeding who? All eaten and as you say looking bright!

Good morning all and thanks so much for all the posts and pics keeping me up to date with everything. Just going through all the LOtL blogs and pics for which I thank each and everyone of you. Still seems like a dream but taking into account that Peter says she is not out the woods yet as she is thin. Hopefully now she has started to eat this will give her the energy she needs. Can see that Lady has gained world wide fame and so she should, a fantastic opsrey who has surprised us all, even LOtL. Fingers crossed she will go from strength to strength.

Good morning Alan and thanks for the link. What a joyful sight to see her feeding a chick while the Laird fed another. It seems as though she is eating herself too. What more could we ask at the moment. Hopefully she is on the road to recovery but we can only keep our fingers crossed for her.
I take my hat off to the Laird. When he first arrived it didn't look to promising as he didn't see to know what his role was. To see him now caring for his chicks in the way he has while Lady has been so ill is just wonderful.

Sheila thanks for posting that article. When I read it I thought again who would have imagined over the weekend that Lady would still be with us. It is nothing short of a miracle and now she is eating again and also feeding her chicks reaffirming her strong bond with them I am more hopeful than I have been.
Good morning Lynette and it is a wonderful sight to behold. Have seen her feeding herself and a chick and can't believe still that his has happened. There is a way to go but fingers crossed whatever aliled her has gone. What a partner the Laird has turned out be as well.

Annette thanks for all your observations on Lady through our night. First place I looked this morning to see if the miracle was still ongoing and it was and Lady has been eating and feeding chicks. A way to go yet but just amazing to see her fight back from whatever caused her to be so poorly.
