Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Well, the kids have been fed, Lady was either on the tree above the nest or taking a comfort break but is now back at the side of the nest.
Up come the chicks again, but there's no food for them, so down their little heads go to sleep of the feed and mum comes back to brood them. Still the unhatched egg in the nest.

The Laird on his perch:

Just had a lovely closeup of the chicks courtesy of the camera operator. They do tend to zoom in a lot more here and makes for good pics.
Look at the size of the chicks now:

.... and the inevitable consequence:
The chicks certainly are coming on in leaps and bounds now. Just had some closeups of the kids and now mum has come back presumably after a comfort break.
Evening sun basking the nest. The Laird has just brought in a whopper and Lady gets straight down to the important business of feeding the chicks.
Those chicks are growing fast. :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Morning all, this morning sees them basking in rare morning sunshine with Lady looking on. She is obviously giving them some sunbathing time. Mum has just flown off, probably for a comfort break. The little ones are beginning to preen themselves as well.
Back comes mum and the chicks call out, but no food this time. What a proud mum, well they are my 50th or so offspring, why shouldn't I be proud.
Same family scene at LG, enjoying rare morning sunshine.
