Looking at the site at Rutland Water. Female having a turn of the eggs and now settling down again. Lovely and calm there as it is here in Northants.
Would be nice to do a diary for the MantonBay (Rutland) as update on other nests now takes ages to get to the end and update.
Do they have names for these two at MantonBay. Please note I have changed the name to Manton Bay (Rutland) nest updates as a suggestion from Sandy. Hope this meets with everyones approval.

Hi Alan. Great news from site N (can't see anything on the website about it).
Hi Sandy, Not on the site yet. Posted by a volunteer at RW on facebook.
Hi, I'm back. At present the nest looks peaceful in the evening light. The female sitting and looking about. It looks as if there is a fish at the side of the nest. For want of a name, I am going to call her Bess, and we have 5R as the male. Seems more personal instead of referring to her as the female.
Twitter feed says today could be the day. Managed to watch a couple of 5 minute chunks this morning whilst preparing for meeting!!! Female seems VERY restless contstantly standing up & down but didn't manage to see the eggs. MIght be worth watching if Loch Garten webcam is still down.
O5 has just flown into to see "Bess" and I thinks its him rearranging the furniture while she takes a comfort break. There is a great big branch on the nest which he has just put to the side and having a good ol tidy up.
Now he's doing a turn on the eggs, no sign of a chick yet. After all that hard work I'll settle down for a bit.
"Bess" has returned and after looking at the eggs is now settling down on them.
05 is just standing at her side, they look lovely together.

Looking forward to news of a hatch. It is so exciting watching all the various nests now.

Just to clarify, the nesting male at Manton Bay is 5R(04) - 5R is what's on his ring, 04 is his hatch year.
05(08) is his annoying younger brother, who returned to RW a few weeks ago and intrudes from time to time!
First chick hatched at Site B this morning:
