Looking at the site at Rutland Water. Female having a turn of the eggs and now settling down again. Lovely and calm there as it is here in Northants.
Would be nice to do a diary for the MantonBay (Rutland) as update on other nests now takes ages to get to the end and update.
Do they have names for these two at MantonBay. Please note I have changed the name to Manton Bay (Rutland) nest updates as a suggestion from Sandy. Hope this meets with everyones approval.

Just looked in again, glad to see they are fishing for themselves or at least one of them is.
Alan the pic of 30/10 is brilliant . It won't be long before they go as well, no doubt.
"Lashing rain and strong winds didn't deter ospreys this morning.. Four large trout delivered to the Manton Bay nest by mum and dad by 7.30!"

That is a lot of fish by 7.30 Alan given the weather. Those should be very healthy youngsters.

Thanks Sandy. That tweet was from a volunteer called Moira who cycles in with her scopes to do the early morning shift.

Hi, all, thanks for the link for update on Manton Bay. Webcam is crap at the moment so can't watch them.
Glad to hear that they may be on their way this weekend - another successful family ready for the off.
Went to Manton Bay today and can confirm that all five of the family are still present (at 6:30 pm).
Latest tweet :
"Only four birds in Manton for the past day and a half. Looks like 31(10) is on his way south too. "
Thanks Alan - it looks like I was lucky to go on Friday as he must have left soon after.
Twitter Update:
Four members of the Osprey family still present in Manton Bay this morning. Website updated with latest news www.ospreys.org.uk
However it appears that all Ospreys from sites B & N have migrated.
