Looking at the site at Rutland Water. Female having a turn of the eggs and now settling down again. Lovely and calm there as it is here in Northants.
Would be nice to do a diary for the MantonBay (Rutland) as update on other nests now takes ages to get to the end and update.
Do they have names for these two at MantonBay. Please note I have changed the name to Manton Bay (Rutland) nest updates as a suggestion from Sandy. Hope this meets with everyones approval.

Looks peaceful at Manton Bay, I think its the female sitting.
Female having a turn of the eggs, now settled down again and doing a bit of furniture arranging.
All is peaceful at Manton Bay.
Lynette: The Manton Bay pair are 5R(04), who fledged from the Site B nest at RW, and an unringed female.

Thanks a lot for that Sandy. All looks peaceful at Manton Bay. I take it it is the female sitting.
Our female is rearranging eggs and male has just flown in, not sure what he's up to. Could be the male who has got up and now flown off and it was the female returning. She is now doing a bit of heavy furniture arranging before settling down on the eggs. Taking her time though at rearranging. Now thinking about settling again.
All looks well at Manton Bay this morning.
No real takers for this thread, will call it a day and post on LG or news from other nests instead.
Twitter update:
"Another beautiful day here at Lyndon, three ospreys in the bay this morning- 05(08) intruding again, chased off by the nesting pair"
Update from Manton Bay:
"5R and his mate are now on day 31 of incubation at the Manton Bay nest and so we are hopeful that the first chick may hatch on Thursday or Friday - so be sure to check the live streaming for the first signs!"
