Daily Update (LG Nest) Wednesday, May 5 2010

Cirrus we leave in the early hours of Wednesday morning.  Taxi to Gatwick at 4.00.  Would be great to see an osprey but we can but dream can't we.

I rather suspect Margobird that no self respecting Osprey would be seen over flying a canal at 500 feet !!!!  Too polluted. But yes, we can dream  !!   :)  I'm off Saturday and when I'm in the Eagle Hide on Wednesday I'll think of you in a gondola being romanced by your OH   :)

Quite right Cirrus.  Will think of you on Wednesday and hoping you will see eagles.  Hope it warms up a bit for you.  Having been checking the weather in Venice and it has been a bit iffy this week but looking as though it will improve by the end of the week.

Morning all: Sounds peaceful at the nest this morning with everyone behaving themselves....

Back again after a spot of gardening..  All looks as it should be. EJ sitting and looking around, preening, and generally just being her.

Yes, all is well, Annette, Lynette - just one fish so far but hooray for that . No intruder today  - how about that? Wonderful

LOtL has just panned round the area where the nest is - lovely scenery.  Marje having a turn of the eggs and a stretch, but otherwise peaceful.

EJ still got that annoying feather on her beak - "I wish it would go"  so to speak.

Radio chaffinch can still be heard in the background but haven't heard a cuckoo. Lucky those who did.

Don't you mean the English - seriously though it is a fabulous view. I think it was you who said you were going away to the Isles - have a lovely break.
