I think I will start MAY, 2016 quite simply with a current snippet of the LOCH GARTEN NEST with EJ quietly incubating her three eggs.
LOL Ann, No it doesn't help at all. I never did like that particular platitude. But rest easy, My bad mood isn't your fault or Keith's. and it is good to have someone interested enough to express their honest opinion.
I'm on my way out the door now but will check back in when I return in a couple of hours when you probably will be in slumberland. So see you tomorrow. Love you!
LOL, Keith, Thanks! You'll note I have not retracted any of what I've stated! But apologising is just that little disease, the cultural norm of apologising no matter what happened. Not that I make a habit of it, you understand, but things are far more easily misunderstood in writing as opposed to in person. If I chance to alienate anyone, I'd prefer it to be intentionally rather than inadvertently, and my preference here is to walk the fine line of honesty and reason without alienating other members of this Forum, as I treasure this Forum!
LOL, June, Just as well you never knew my Mum! A lovely person, she lived by several platitudes and I heard them so often that they come to my mind frequently. Completely understandable that you do not like that platitude--I'm not keen on most of them!
Kind regards, Ann
I love to hear the cookoo and he is calling loud and clear now at Dyfi. audible even over the sound of the train.
Duplicate view at Manton Bay
EJ as always when I look in is sitting quietly on her nest this morning. I don't think I have been lucky enough to see Odin even once this year. If at all, it was very soon after he arrived.
A golden morning at LG. EJ (I assume) sitting serenely on her nest, as usual.
Double view at Manton Bay
close-up I did manage to catch an osprey in flight at Dyfi.
The viewing was rather spectacular a short while ago when a osprey flew to the nest from the front (six o'clock position) The Close-up of spread tail feathers and wings would have made a lovely snippit. Then the incoming bird raised a foot and Kicked the sittig bird to a standing position. Then one or the oher flew away and that is when I finally cauht it.
Just found the Glaslyn osprey cam. Nice clear picture and might be some good watching.
