A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing

Chol;):) duplicates sorry, were not there when I posted...DOH!
No worries, Kate, better 2 than none.
Maya checking the eggs again and again and again....
I wish someone would zoom in. (I'm not complaining, just saying)
More checks . all good signs :-D
Of course being realistic this could be egg 2 hatching!
Noc ... we never complain :-)))
But we do need zoomed in to see any pips/cracks. Hope someone goes straight to the cam when they start this morning :-)
She is so fidgety, isn't she. A chick must be hatching.
