A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Morning all and thanks for all the updates and fantastic captures of the feed Kate and Wendy for your video - appreciated..
Brilliant that dad has brought in a fish and the little ones have been fed. They both look healthy and strong.
WILLOW - MARY: Yes, I saw the Flying Scotsman last night and what a glorious, wonderful sight.
What a fantastic day yesterday was :-))))
33 has just landed with a large stick. Maya has placed it along with some of his other 'offerings'. She has now flown leaving 33 in charge. Chicks looking strong in the sun.

Thrilled to see Maya's success so far, thanks to all for reports, pics, and, not least, WENDY's triumphant vids :-) Dunno how you keep it going, Wendy - I had several goes the night before last, in anticipation of hatch/hatches, but had to give up.
IMAGICAT
Thank you for the video, WENDY.
Thanks Scylla, just very lucky I think, a few unfortunate freezes & loss of transmission but not as bad as I expected ... lack of time is my worst enemy!!
Fantastic video WENDY Thank you
Thanks Brenda & Patily, pleased you enjoyed it ... our reward is such good resolution on this cam & a bonus when operators zoom in, can even see how Maya is moving around with talons tucked in even when not really near to chicks!
Having a good feed
