A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Maya has flown ..leaving 33 with his chick
Oooh stick, stomping...can't watch.

Say Hello little one to Dad :-)
33 now settles down
Proud dad
He is now falling asleep.
I have to go out. See you all later, hopefully. How great it was to see the chick hatching and then 33 making Maya move (in his comical way). Happy :-)
Great news all round this morning :D
Have you decided which egg hatched? #1 or #2?

Maya has returned and changes over with 33. Not a clear view for a capture
Chloe ... I mentioned that earlier that realistically, this could be #2. I don't know - I don't do the splodolgy:-)
I would really like to see another hatch :-)
