A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Any hatching yet?

I think I saw pipping but the screen grab doesn't show it.
Not yet Noc
33 Maya has left them a couple of times and I've seen no movement. Here is a capture of the eggs few minutes ago.

Hi Jane .. interesting :-) I wish Maya would get up again so we can have another look!
view of the eggs right now, but too distant to see any pip, if there is one...
I can't see them moving either...
The cam is not zooming in.
Why is no one coming to incubate them?
