A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Yes Noc ... looks the perfect set up.
Dinner calls ... BBS
There she is, Maya. She was on the campost.
Tiger's Osprey News
Maya has taken one of the fish and has left.
The camera is zooming in and out. Everything is ready, but 33 is not getting up.
33 got up, turned the eggs and sat down again. No good view of the eggs.
Thanks Noc
just seen 33 check the eggs again (6.05)

Maya has returned. 33 rises and flies off . Maya settles down to incubate.
Maya has just checked the eggs again (no view).
And I have just noticed the other fish piece has gone. 33 must have taken it when he flew off 6.28pm.
My goodness, this waiting and checking and waiting is killing me...
LOL Noc but just think the later #1 hatches the better as there wont be such a gap/difference between #1 and #3.
This is what I am telling myself the longer we wait :-D
