A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Morning everyone. Expectation at maximum?

In 2013 there were no chicks at dawn and two at dusk.
Come on little one, today is the day. It's warm and sunny. And I'm getting anxious! ;-)
Tiger's Osprey News
If you look back noc you are in good company as there are several members metaphorically "Pacing the corridor, biting their nails and getting towels and hot water ready" LOL.
Birdies LG DU update.
I'm constantly checking for updates when I should be working. Come on little chicks!
I see the eggs are unattended just now?

Earlier, around 9:42 Maya mantled and took off. She returned quickly - I wonder if another is around. Maya has returned (09:54) and settled on the eggs. She looks alert
Eggs on view at present.

Maya remains alert and calling.
Maya looks more settled now. Beak still opening so perhaps panting as I think it is warm there?
Back to my chores!
33 has just left the campost, maybe chasing someone.
Now he is back and Maya takes off.
