A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Maya rises, has a shake, then checks the eggs and after a wiggle, settles. Didn't get a clear view of the eggs.
Thank you noc
Was just clarifying, as Chloe said Maya, and I thought well that's news to me CHOL:):)
Would hate to state and incorrect sighting.!!!!
In for an EGGciting day , just hope they are all healthy.
What's that? Is that a broken egg? I can't see anything moving though
Tiger's Osprey News
looks like a bit of debris or feather if you enlarge
Just my thoughts but I would think they would have the cam zoomed in if there was a crack.
At least the screen is clearing a little now.
Has anyone seen any cam movement this morning?

My thoughts the same Karen, and no have not seen any close ups whilst I have been checking.
Thanks Karen. I panicked for a second. :-/
I haven't seen any cam movement. Anyway, Maya didn't have any reaction when she stood up. She preened and settled down again, in no hurry.
Thanks for that Kate :-) I am still working in the garden so watching from a distance and looking in every so often.
NOC - just seen your reply - thanks. And better to panic and post than to miss what is one of the greatest moments of the season :-))
It is so difficult as the view has been awful but Kayleigh is pretty good and I suspect they may zoom in as there will be much excitement in the centre and they'll want to show it.
Thanks Karen. I just can't wait to see a bobblehead. :-)
I must leave the computer to have lunch, argghh.
