A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
09:51 Maya rose, had a good wing flap to shake off the water and then took off
09:51 We get a look at the eggs ... I can't see anything but the screen is so bad
09:52 Was just a quick fly around to shake off the water - stretch her wings as she was back on the eggs within a minute

Tiger - there could well be but the view just now with the rain, I couldn't see anything.
Sorry, I'm confused... a pip at Manton Bay or in another nest?

Yes, Manton Bay noc. I have not seen anything so far but missed the last time Maya got up. The picture is so poor at the moment though

Has Maya been ringed, as my captures previous page a moment ago, show bird sitting has rings,
Hi SunnyKate, it was 33 on the eggs. Maya is not ringed.
Maya has just returned and that's the best view of the eggs I could get:
Hi noc and Kate. Maya is not ringed but 33 is. He will be doing his stint.
