A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
I would not be at all surprised if the first hatching is Thursday.

Morning all, it is not often we don't see the sun shinning over the bay but the forecast is good and I'm sure it will burn through soon.
Maya incubating just now. She has just had a short comfort break and upon returning gave the eggs a quick check and settled down.
Good Morning KATE Nice capture of the eggs
Good Morning KAREN

Just noticed a misty blob on the WA cam and on checking the maps, see a huge rain cloud over the South East ... eeek!
Hopefully breakfast arrives soon if rain is on the way.
