I think my cam has been frozen, am just going to check the post-midnight footage.

Forecast is not good this week and hail just started here and I am south Scotland. But EJ and Odin are so experienced, it nice knowing these eggs couldn't be with better parents.
Looks like there has been another hail shower. I do feel sorry for her as sometimes these can hurt!

31 May last year at Hellgate Canyon, Montana, Iris and Stan's 3 eggs were all destroyed by hail. Iris was on the eggs, Stan came to support but he could only withstand it for 4 minutes, Iris stayed hunkered down for 10 minutes - but it was eventually to no avail, they had all been damaged.
Course, they do things bigger and heavier in America ;-)
How sad, Scylla. I seem to have read about that, but I don't follow the nest. Is this the nest in a car park, which was being built over?
