HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's Chat thread is here.
Everyone have a wonderful week!
I'll be back soon to catch up with everyone.
Annette: I'm so very glad that you've had a good visit with your sister. I hope you all enjoyed the Space Shuttle trip. I hope they had safe travels home, too. I know you miss her terribly all the time. Let the laundry wait and take some time to rest after your adventures.
All of the presidential candidates are in Indiana this week and will be here until we vote on May 3, so they're creating quite a stir. Indiana is playing a critical role in the Republican election. If Trump wins Indiana, he'll probably have enough delegates to get the nomination on the first ballot at their convention. That means the establishment Republican Party won't be able to stop him. If he doesn't win in Indiana, he likely will fall short, and the party may try to keep the nomination from him in a convention fight. So my state is quite frantic with political activity right now.
Margo: I'm glad you're starting to recover from that awful cold. It's wonderful that your OH will be with you all the time now. I hope that will make things easier for both of you. My thoughts are with you both!
Lindy: Just saw your post. Have a great time in Wales!!!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Diane: the Google picture today honours Hertha Ayrton, a British Female Engineer! Nice to see a woman mentioned amongst the inventors often represented....
(I know you champion the feminine cause)
Clare: They won't venture into the rural area where I live -- I don't think! Most of 'em won't be welcome on my patch. LOL
Lindy: Yay!!!
MARGO- just want to send cyber hugs to you and your OH. It has indeed been a hard four years for you both. It is not difficult to understand why his decision has made you feel the way you describe. However, there will be great benefits for both of you in that he will no longer be struggling to do his loving best for you in addition to working hard for his clients xx
Heather thank you for your post. It alerted to me Margo's yesterday!
Margo, may I join with all the others in wishing you the very best of luck. Fingers crossed for your long overdue meal.
Birdies LG DU update.
We've arrived OK after a wet and unpleasant trip - lots of spray from the HGVs, and silly people driving too fast in the bad visibility.
However, now sitting comfortably with a cuppa and getting the place warmed up. No one else seems to be here! -It's like the Marie Celeste, but we expect lots of folks will turn up tomorrow as it's a Bank Holiday weekend.
