Well I guess the opening post to this Daily Update, won't be as dramatic as the last one. Welcome my fellow Ospreyholics to another day in the 2016 LG Osprey season. EJ is currently watching something, or someone while incubating three gorgeous eggs (she does decorate them beautifully) , and Odin will be perched on a nearby branch. Here's to another great day :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Good night, Moffer. See you tomorrow, hopefully.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She's up for a stretch, maybe a poop, back on the eggs.

Yes, but she didn't show it to us:
It is snowing again, and it looks quite dramatic in black and white. It may not be as bad as it looks, but I feel it is. EJ is incubating

The snow certainly looks dramatic on the night cam. EJ looks like she can't wait for it to stop, so she can shake off the excess weight.
Just catching up with the days events and what a mixture of weather. Thanks for all the reporting, vids, pics. etc.
This is EJ just now, can't really tell whether she is snow covered but it still seems to be snowing.

I think it may have stopped snowing, but I think EJ still has a light blanket of snow over her wings. The temps were due to fall below zero at Boat of Garten, so possibly lower on the nest. Unless she stands and flaps I guess the snow will remain over night.
