Well I guess the opening post to this Daily Update, won't be as dramatic as the last one. Welcome my fellow Ospreyholics to another day in the 2016 LG Osprey season. EJ is currently watching something, or someone while incubating three gorgeous eggs (she does decorate them beautifully) , and Odin will be perched on a nearby branch. Here's to another great day :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Still snowing on Odin
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Good morning, all! I see our Magnificent Odin is demonstrating his sheer toughness by not looking at all bothered by the weather:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
He's chirping, is he expecting EJ or is it to do with mystery noises I've been hearing and dismissing as melting snow dripping onto the mike?
Here's EJ. Loudly pipe-chirping.
IMAGICAT
EJ's back
Good morning, EJ, Beautifulness:
My VLC then froze, though I could still hear the lovely chirping - I got a brief glimpse of Odin getting off the eggs before this picture appeared:
Morning all and thanks for all the updates. Snow was forecast but I am still surprised seeing it! Amazing how they can adapt from the heat of Africa to this ... but EJ and Odin are tough and will keep these eggs warm.
Good Morning all I didn't expect to see snow
Good Morning Clare, Karen and Patily.
I'm still waiting for Odin to return and take the fish tail.
Hi, Patily! I must confess I've been looking at the weather forecasts.....I just hope it doesn't get bad enough to prevent travel.
