It was wonderful to see both Maya and Blue 33(11) return much earlier this year. Maya arrived back on the 21 March and 33(11) on 27 March .
Since arriving back Maya and 33 have reestablished their partnership and are busy preparing their nest to hold these precious eggs which we so eagerly await.
Maya laid her eggs after 9 days last year so we could see eggs anytime from 6 April.
Karen. I nearly had a fit when I logged on and could not see the egg! At the end though she did uncover it and proceeded to roll it in place before settling to incubate.
Birdies LG DU update.
33 just arrived with a sizeable fish.
Maya has flown off with the fish and 33 is fiddling around the egg but not incubating.
33 now settled.
Thanks Mike, missed it as I just took Dee out for a quick walk. Glad he has brought a fish in as I thought earlier she looked hungry.
33 is settled down and incubating now.
both cams down
Edit: back up now and 33 continues incubating.
Edit: back down 13:42. I think we are going to experience intermittent problems today
Looking very stormy here ... nest shaking and dull!
Maya returns with the fish and continues to eat at the side of the nest.

Hi Mike ... oh this poor egg! I wish it was covered and I think it is beginning to rain now. As you say, exposed as 33 rose when Maya returned and is still standing
