It was wonderful to see both Maya and Blue 33(11) return much earlier this year. Maya arrived back on the 21 March and 33(11) on 27 March .
Since arriving back Maya and 33 have reestablished their partnership and are busy preparing their nest to hold these precious eggs which we so eagerly await.
Maya laid her eggs after 9 days last year so we could see eggs anytime from 6 April.

Both on the nest just chilling :-)
Morning all .... where's the sun???
Thanks for all the earlier captures and updates. Maya is still sitting on the nest and I notice her looking up towards the campost
33 is there, flies down, mates then flies off.

large stick being delivered by 33 :-D
then to place it
Maya flies in ... I'm sure I saw another bird flying around ... and 33 takes off
leaving Maya who gets busy doing a little nest work.
Who is this? Just walked in and see 33 and Maya mantling ... then talons?
lands on the nest
Maya and 33 remains alert on the nest
then Maya takes off followed by 33
Maya returns to the nest
Now, 33 appears with a stick :-D Nice to see as the intruder must be gone!
At least everything now appears calm for 33 and Maya who are together on the nest.
I have to go out now. Look forward to an interesting blog tonight as I'm sure the intruder is ringed - I wonder who it was? BFN
Maya was alone on the nest, she seemed to be eating something or fiddling with something in her talons and then the webcam went down, and has been down for the last 3 or 4 minutes.
Camera back again and Maya on the nest looking like she is calling. Maybe a fish imminent.
Latest Blog .... Over The Rainbow
Thank you Karen, I've not seen them on the nest at all today ! :)
