March went out like a lion, how will April start?
Well, pretending this was post-midnight when it was actually yesterday evening, April starts a bit ignominiously, actually.

Especially valuable since it seems Facebook is determined that I can no longer read the posts on FB from the DOP--something I had been doing successfully for about 3 years despite not being signed up to Facebook. Any suggestions how to persuade Facebook to stop overlaying DOP's Facebook page (which I can click on from a link on the DOP live streaming page) with a white page ordering me to sign in or to join FB? Remembering the original motivation for the start of Facebook, to post photos of and to judge and to rank the appearance of the women of Mr. Zuckerberg's University, I am loathe to join Facebook. Any suggestions, please?

I see what you are saying. It does seem that Mr Zuckerberg is getting tough. Oh you might as well join us on the road hell :)If you do join up you can join all the lovely osprey groups that you are missing.
There is a partial workaround by closing the blind but it will not go away completely.

The night cam has just come on. Glesni is still on the nest. We should be seeing eggs this coming week!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I'm expecting one any second, CLARE - and I'm not usually an optimist ;-) It's because I want to experiment with a mouse on Glesni's recording laptop to see if it crashes it, but I can't do it if she's on the nest >:(
Thanks Clare, Starling and Tiger. Been away since mid-afternoon and have only just seen your posts. I contacted Dyfi and had a reply that they 'can do nothing' from their end, though I thought I previously had heard of others who had made their FB page open to non-FB-members, as you mentioned, Starling. I am not at all techie and also do not know who at Dyfi is/are their Tech person/people so I do not know if someone else at Dyfi can help. I wonder if the problem might have something to do with Dyfi's new website apparently being the Dyfi version of other Wildlife Trust websites I have seen. Perhaps I need to contact some overall Wildlife Trust office? (Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the old Dyfi website, although the FB problem did begin about a week Before the change-over!) Maybe I will give in in the end, Tiger, and sign up but it is annoying to have to consider it!
Kind regards, Ann
Apparently it is new Gardenbirder go over to the Technical Thread couple of posts about it there.
Thanks, Starling!

This problem is nothing to do with Dyfi. It affects all the Facebook pages so it is a Facebook thing.
She's sprinkled something on her underside to make it invisible. Ospreys, god love 'em !!!
Did look in earlier this afternoon to watch a bit of the action but thanks to all for the updates and pics.
