March went out like a lion, how will April start?
Well, pretending this was post-midnight when it was actually yesterday evening, April starts a bit ignominiously, actually.
Listen...
IMAGICAT
They are still sitting together companionably. I wish he'd get her a fish, though.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Monty has flown to a tree under his favourite perch.
He's now back on the mini T-post. Glesni is sitting (remarkably) quietly on the nest.
Many thanks, Everyone, for the posts and pics. Especially valuable since it seems Facebook is determined that I can no longer read the posts on FB from the DOP--something I had been doing successfully for about 3 years despite not being signed up to Facebook. Any suggestions how to persuade Facebook to stop overlaying DOP's Facebook page (which I can click on from a link on the DOP live streaming page) with a white page ordering me to sign in or to join FB? Remembering the original motivation for the start of Facebook, to post photos of and to judge and to rank the appearance of the women of Mr. Zuckerberg's University, I am loathe to join Facebook. Any suggestions, please?
Kind regards, Ann
I wondered where Monty had got to:
For once he doesn't scarper afterwards:

Monty has flown. Glesni is looking around her in a way that suggests she's not overly happy.
Glesni is still on the nest. Monty is nearby with a fish.

I don't think it's facebook, it's usually the settings set by the owner of the page. If it's not set to public then you can't view it.

Thanks, Starling.
We've just had another mating on the nest. I don't think Monty brought any of his fish to Glesni.
