The purpose of this thread is to record observations, activity and captures of Rutland’s Manton Bay nest throughout the season.
The nest at Manton Bay has been in use since 2007 and its history can be found here.
I am sure I speak for us all in wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.
And me Mary:-( Has been doing this but often a refresh works Not this morning tho. Hopefully someone in the VC soon to resolve.
I wonder how many sticks will come in today? :-D
Cams back up and Maya still calling
Edit: drat .. down again. Hopefully they are not going to play up too much but could be overload with the Easter holiday ?
Ha Ha Karen, I am sure it won't be long until 33 is pole vaulting his way onto the nest :-)
Still swirly thing for me on the webcam.

Cam back up again, and Maya still fishless on the nest. She must be thinking that she dreamt 33 arriving with that whopper.
Maya still calling. Hopefully all fixed now :-)

Looks windy, nest shaking. At least this is to pass over quite quickly I believe.
I wish 33 would bring her some fish .... she shared hers last night!
33's RETURN AS TOLD BY KEN DAVIES.
Latest blog He's back
snap Mary ... still better two posts than missing it!
At last, 33 brings Maya a fish
maya takes it from 33
nice size and headless, so 33 has eaten too and its all ready for her :-)
Maya flies off leaving 33 who picks around the nest.
Maya returns
then 33 flies off. Maya remains on the nest and moves to the edge to eat her fish
Looks difficult for Maya in this wind balancing on the edge trying to eat!
then 33 flies in and mates
