The purpose of this thread is to record observations, activity and captures of Rutland’s Manton Bay nest throughout the season.
The nest at Manton Bay has been in use since 2007 and its history can be found here.
I am sure I speak for us all in wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.
Off he flies
Wonderful news! Well done for capturing it Karen. Happy Easter, indeed!

Just seen Osprey with blue ring on nest and dashed here to check if it is 33! Yay, so good that he is home early. I'm all for female independence but I'm not sure about Maya bringing a fish to 33!

Great news that 33(11) is back. Although in Karen's post above 16.08 and my screen shot taken at 16.07
Isn't it two females on the nest. I thought it could be 25.
Anyway well captured Karen. :-)
