HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MONTH!
Last week's Chat thread is here.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week. Only 48 more days until the Spring Equinox!

I hope that Diane is in less pain today, and that Margo is feeling better.
Good Morning Everyone.
Rain overnight here, Linda, but quite dull and cloudy now. Thank you for your card on here. Lovely apple blossom. Thank you also for your wonderful JL card, which I looked at, as I lay in bed having my breakfast, courtesy of OH. I have replied to you.X
Waiting for the postman now, who never seems to arrive until at least 10.30am these days.
Still raining, here!! Wondering if my OH will call off his golf game this morning, but he may just play less holes than usual if its really wet.
Glad you have a treat to start the day, Brenda: how nice of your OH. (Our postman never comes before lunch nowadays, and sometimes not at all, then unsurprisingly we get a whole wad of stuff the following day.......)
My new toaster arrived!! All fine, except I was under the impression that it was a red one which was on offer - they have sent a cream coloured one, but that's OK as our present one is cream. We have a red kettle next to it, but the new one may well have been a different red, so no worries.
Busy doing lots of little things before titivating to go out to lunch with Friend. We are off to a more distant Garden Centre, which has a posh new cafe to explore. It does, however, have a much smaller Gift Shop so less chance of us spending money today, LOL!!
Hope that OG has a successful and easy Final Trip to Carlisle. Hooray!!
Ruby didn't want to get out of bed, but sent her birthday wishes LOL
Enjoy your lunch Linda and resist buying too much, in spite of it having a smaller gift shop.
All done! Now just need to get some damaged skin healed and keep up with various follow-up appointments and other medical stuff too! Actually have to return to Carlisle next Tuesday to see Oncologist - presumably for her to return me to the care of Dumfries - but already have Dumfries appointment anyway! Don't mind going Tuesday as (surprise, surprise) it's pancake day at the Old Toll Bar!
I am not going to attempt a catch-up of two days' posts, but must add my belated best wishes to the two birthday girls, BRENDA and ANNETTE!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
OH Heather, do hope it is healing well and that you will feel like your old self again soon.
Cold is easing off and it was conjunctivitis but have got drops and it is clearing fast. Almost back to old self, hate being under the weather.

Happy Birthday to Annette and Brenda from me too. Hope you both have a great day.
Just catching up with all the news. See it has been as expected up North - quite stormy, but pleased to hear no-one has suffered too much. Wendy , glad to hear that the tree has finally come down, at least there is no danger now of it falling your way. View will be OK in time I'm sure.
Didn't feel like swimming last Thursday or this Tuesday but went today and had a reasonable one. Back up to speed I hope next week. OH saw the dermatologist yesterday and it is a basel cell carcinoma/rodent ulcer so will need treatment. Apparently one of the commonist forms of skin cancer. He now has to see a maxiofacial specialist as it is removal from the outer ear but should be fast tracked as it needs removing.
A special birthday for Annette/Brenda, have a great day you two.
Margo - sorry to hear that nose bleeds have been happening frequently. Let's hope they can sort it for you. Do hope you make the concert on Friday. Remembering all you're going through.
Glad to read that you and OH are going out for a meal to celebrate, Brenda.
Weather has been mixed down here but fine at present - weekend looks iffy all round.
