HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MONTH!
Last week's Chat thread is here.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week. Only 48 more days until the Spring Equinox!

Margo - Sorry about the nosebleeds. What a nuisance. We all have everything crossed for your night of music and fun with Joe Brown. Saw him talking on a documentary the other day, about the old(er) rock 'n rollers. He was the only one who didn't seem to have changed much!!
Heather - Laughed a lot at your OH's remark about the death of thousands!!
Annette - I loved Diane's fragrant rose, too - your idea of putting your nose right in it was so descriptive....... My flowers were indeed clematis, the one which grows on the plum tree: I've probably used that photo before, as I can't bring up my new ones :-( Hope your dear old truck has gone- I know it's like saying Goodbye to an old friend :-(
Hope you have a nice meal for your celebration, Annette.
OG - Enjoy your evening. Tomorrow you can heave a sigh of relief as you come home from your last session - hooray!
OG well that's it done and dusted..
You are like me having memorable tattoos ..
After 6 weeks of driving back and forth I slept for a couple of days..
Happy Birthday, Annette.
Happy Birthday, Brenda.
Everything crossed for Margo. {{{HUGS}}}
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNETTE.
Have a wonderful Day.
I have had a full and busy day today. Daughter visited and then we all went out for a late Birthday lunch to a restaurant she had pre booked. She is unable to see me tomorrow.
Thank you Diane for a beautiful card. Sorry about your pain. I know there is not much you can do, except for painkillers, which don't always work anyhow. X
Annette, Although rather sad, it is good that you have sold your truck. Enjoy your Birthday meal.
Dibnlib, AQ, and Margo, Thank you for your Birthday wishes for my Birthday, tomorrow. It will just be OH and myself and we will go out for a meal. Cards started arriving in today's post, but I have been good and not opened them yet.
OG, Wonderful that tomorrow is your last day of treatment. Hope you enjoyed this evening.
Heather, Hope your head ( and brain cells ) are now healing. Your OH may not be eating as well recently, but his sense of humour seems to be working well :-))
Lovely pic Brenda. :-) Nice that you could have lunch with your daughter, to celebrate. Sorry to hear about the ugly fence you'll have to view for a while. :-(
My OH has been preparing to put up the new fencing. Bonnie escaped again this afternoon whilst he was supposedly watching her, and I was out doing errands. He couldn't believe that she was in the garden one minute and gone the next. The wire and fencing we have up already is incredible and would have been too much for dear old Buzz, who was three times the size of this wayward pup!
Evening all: Did manage to sell truck and feel much better having met the new owner: A nice guy in his late 40s/early 50s - a veteran who'd lost a limb (not sure how or where) and, though employed full time, has a side business involving beach bikes and scooters. He needed something cheap and cheerful to transport them between his home workspace and the beach and our truck fit the bill. So truck will spend its second retirement at the beach! :-)
OH and I had nice dinner out; halibut for me; veal for him. We split cheesecake for dessert.
Margo: Let us know how you're doing. Nothing must stand in the way of the Joe Brown concert!
Brenda: Lovely photo with another lovely rose - they're so beautiful. :-) Let your OH spoil you tomorrow!
Have a good Thursday all.
------ ------ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRENDA ------- ------
Good Morning, Everyone. Wet here again: think its rained all night. Goodness knows where all that water will go, as everywhere is soaked even though we had breaks between the showers yesterday and sunny spells.
I hope it's dry for you, Brenda, and you have a nice birthday: my photo is only of some apple blossom from last Spring, but I thought it was cheerful! Enjoy your meal out tonight with your OH. I expect you are opening those cards now: I always keep mine, too - at our age, you get less and less cards so its nice to have an opening session with most of them at once!
Annette: Sad to see your dear old truck go, but how nice that someone has it now who may love it, and as you say, its retiring to the sea shore...... aaah! Halibut for your meal sounds good - but I wouldn't have split the cheesecake ;-))
