Good afternoon all had my top up but have been feeling rather unwell today. Bad nose bleed this morning I got quite worried as it would not stop. This us the third one I have had in a just over a week. Obviously low platelet count is not helping but having another blood test Friday so will find out if it has dropped even more. Just hoping I will feel OK to go and see Joe Brown on Friday.
Annette Happy Birthday hope you have a good day.
Brenda Happy Bitrtoday for tomorrow, are you doing something soecial.
Heather hoope the head is mending well.
OG you must be so pleased that you are nearing the end of your treatment.
Good morning all and thanks for b/day wishes!
Diane: What a glorious pink that rose is! You can almost feel the softness of the petals. I could bury my nose in it and forget to come up for air. Thank you. :-))
Lindybird: Is that a clematis? It's the same type of flower and color as the Grewia Occidentalis (aka Lavender Starflower) I just bought, although a much much larger flower. Thank you!
I'm pretty sure we've sold our lovely old truck. We are meeting the guy today - he's bringing payment; we're taking the pink slip (proof of ownership). I'm sad to see it go, but it needs to be more than just a driveway ornament....
OH is taking me out to dinner tonight (unless our truck-selling trip takes longer than anticipated; in which case we might postpone a day).
Take care all.
MARGO - I have got fingers and toes crossed for Friday xx
Heather please don't or there could be more glue involved....
Like it, WENDY!!
I just knew you would Heather ;-)
Much more relaxed day here as all stress went overnight.
Just fingers crossed Margo for JB at least doing that someone else can cook tea!!
Oh only loser in the tree debacle is the big house over the road as the tree has fallen over his outdated sewage outflow. We all have modern easy to use systems his is old outdated brick built and sometimes smelly. He runs a B and B and to keep us off his back he has it emptied 5 times a year. We have 3 houses on ours and only have gulper lorry every 3 years. Basic maths put in a new system and eventually save money.
I would say so, WENDY. Five times a year must be costing him. My brother was moaning a bit last night about how much he had to pay for emptying the septic tank. He should get a new one, it is ancient and being inspected next week. They can apparently (try) and enforce a replacement but in practice rarely do. There are too many impoverished pensioners in rural France.....
Yes Heather it would be cheaper but you cannt reason with smart a******s.
There are 3 cottages on ours it's very fragrant and costs us £50 per household every 3 years.
My brother's wasn't fragrant had to pay extra 40 euros cos of back up. His own fault.
Heather I expect extra investment at a certain age is daunting ..
This guy runs a business.
