  • Thanks for the Dunedin nest captures, Lynette. I do have to admit that I deliberately don't watch any osprey nests over our winter.

Hi Annette, I hope your day isn't as hectic as it sounds from your post.

Linda, Your husband deserves his afternoon nap. Hopefully you both have a relaxing evening.

  • OG, Yes. I have just put the bedding on one of our other beds in a back bedroom, but I think we will still hear the gate,, but not as bad as in our own room.  Great minds LOL  In reality, we don't think anyone will turn up now. OH has gathered the chain up and threaded it through itself, but the gate still rolls and clanks. The drive into the site, ( of the original bungalow ) is on a slight slope and the roadway is higher !!

  • You must be fed up already, with the builders, Brenda, and they havn't even really started yet! Hope you get some sleep.

Well, my OH had a rest after lunch, and congratulated himself on finally making everything Bonnie-escape-proof..............then he took her out for a walk, by going out in the car to some fields he knows. When they returned, he opened the boot of the car, and Bonnie jumped straight out and chased a cat up the road!!  Took him fifteen minutes to catch her again.....

  • Lindybird sounds like Daisy see a cat chase it.. She is sadly a runner after chasing a train for 3 miles in a previous life..

Lift boot and out like an excoset ...

Luckily fence ( our design on hight gates and planks ) has been Daisy proof since she arrived for 2 months nearly 4 years ago...

  • Oh she knows how to return and everything is in 3s.

3 treats 3 whistles and 3 toys then bored andOFF!!

  • I tried to get on here earlier and Safari said that it couldn't locate the site. I texted you Linda at 7.33pm to see if you were having the same problem, but you obviously haven't read your texts recently LOL

  • LOL Linda and Wendy. I know it is a big problem when dogs run away, but sorry, your posts have made me laugh.

  • Hello all

Just one of those incredibly silly days here - very busy.

Just want to say how pleased I am that MARGO got to go to the show xx

Will catch up with you all tomorrow-

  • Have to see the funny side, Brenda!!  Wendy - cats are soo tempting, they run off quickly and make for a great chase!

(I love both cats and dogs....)

My phone was on the hall table, so I heard it on the second message. Lucky it wasn't buried in my handbag!!!  Quite often these days I forget to turn it on, or else I forget to turn it off for three days, and it goes flat!!

  • Brenda I am cat person never wanted a dog and never had a dog... Well not until now..
