Starling I had the feeling that it was White SS, but just couldn't see the ring, I sat for ages waiting on something that looked like a ring come into view and pressed screen shot umpteen times LOL... then fiddled with the capture to see if it would come up. Certainly not very clear, but it is so good to know that he is back.
AS6 is not listed in SueC's list, hopefully if Diane contacts Roy she may let us know the whereabouts of this bird.
Closest I can get to it is AP6 a 2012 bird from Contin in Ross-shire, which was sighted by Chris Wood in 2014 in Tanji Marsh, Gambia. Also there is an AS but this was earlier in 2010.

Great to hear TV have confirmed it is White SS. Wonderful he has made it back and a new partner too! Hope all goes well here.
Thanks for contacting Diane and passing on the news Mary.

Thank you Mary. I checked Sue C's list as well. It's always exciting when a ringed bird is identified and hopefully we will find out about where she originated from.

Blue AS6 is from near Muir of Ord, Ross-shire and one of a brood of two hatched in 2013. She was ringed on 12 July. Many thanks to ringer Brian for the details, we’ve had several of his ospreys now. Blue AS6 wasn’t seen at Kielder after 17 July. The reason is she is now visible on the Tweed Valley nestcam, with the regular male White SS!"
Birdies LG DU update.
Yes I was just coming to post this information that Joanna so kindly provided for us.
Here is a LINK to the blog that gives all the relevant information regarding Blue AS6
Thank you Mike & Mary for posting the information :)
Looking good at Tweed Valley
Was tweed valley where the female went missing or is it the nest with the one chick that went missing. May keilder is where female went off and didn't come back
Lmac I seem to remember it was the female who went missing, and the 3 chicks in the nest died. Yes I think it was the Kielder chick who fledged and was never seen again.
Cam is on late tonight at Aberfoyle. Here is the female? I think on the nest
