Empty nest at Aberfoyle at the moment Starling. I have checked their new Facebook page too, and nothing been posted on it referring to Ospreys since the 3rd of April.
Whether the female that was there earlier has moved on, who knows. Also we will need to wait to see if they confirm that the male on the nest was Drunkie, lets hope their page is updated soon.

Thanks Karen. I didn't watch Countryfile last night, so may look for it on Iplayer. Sounds as though it was a disappointment though, such a shame!
Patily was asking about Drunkie with Katrine and Arklet, it was in 2014 that happened. I found this post by AP. I don't think we ever found out what happened with Arklet, did we.
Starling I have had a look in my files and found this photo that I had taken of the screen last October at The Lodge, Aberfoyle. I must say this photo of Drunkie does look a lot like your capture above.
Thanks Mary. Actually I have always assumed I am taking shots of the same osprey, but this one I posted on the 14th looks like a darker chested bird.

Those shots are definitely a female Starling, whether that is the earlier female we seen on the nest before I am not sure. The resident female Katrine is ringed Green 11.
By the way I got an email from a ranger at The Lodge who said the webcam went off at 3 pm, and I was trying to get it up just after three and couldn't. I think the times could be sporadic though.
I'm the same Mary, I tend to sit down with a cuppa between 3.30 - 4.30 and the cam is never working LOL.
