Hi all: "Early" starting new thread tonight. Gary! Was lurking on Facebook (so many LG pages there I can't keep up!) and noticed you'd had to cancel the trip. Bummer!
head was still on Margobird and it was fat and about 12 inches long
Morning Margobird - I hope the wind dies down soon at LG it can't be very comfortable on that nest away up in the air! There was ice on the birdbath here this morning ... first time for a while!

Crikey it was cold for you then. No ice here but I suspect not far off a frost. Site seems a bit "iffy" this morning, keeps coming up with error messages so don't know if everything I have posted has got through.
Margobird
Odin flies in ... tries to persuade EJ to give up the eggs, but she's not having it :))) Maybe because he stood on one last time!
I had to take a very long phone call, ( nearly 1 1/2 hrs. ) and I had to turn the sound down on the computer as the wind sounded horrific.
EJ sitting quietly on nest.
Brenda sounds as though it is raining and forecast saying wintry weather later at LG. Whenever is this going to end.
Yes Margo, they keep having very sharp showers. I see there is snow in the forecast for tomorrow.
EJ left and I could hear Odin communicating and seconds later I saw him fly in to do what he loves to do and that is brooding the eggs. What a star he is.
I just love the way they both 'tweet' to the eggs as they arrive.

Yes Brenda it is very sweet. I think it is just you and me on osprey watch at the moment and it soundsas though it is raining again.
