Hallo all:
OG: Love the photo of the two ducks (not sure which kind). But which of you got down on the ground to get that shot? The details on the drake are really striking.
Heather: I remember Circassian Circles - but only the name! What a wonderful time you had, sounds like so much fun.
Rita: Congratulations on your knee. Good for you. Seems like a lots of folks on here will be happy to cheer you along in rehab. :-) Do you have one of those walkers? (I think they call them Zimmer frames over there).
I'll be up at 6 a.m. to watch Federer/Djokovich game.
Here's to a good week for everyone and hope Margo is doing okay.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Morning all: Just popped in to say a Big Hallo to Margo! Back later today to catch up.
Joke
At hospital over the weekend I heard a load of patients reciting Scottish poetry, apparently it was the serious Burns unit
Margo hugs:-)
Brenda we have a steading with PP so wish they would get a move on as it would improve area. Sadly after 5 years no takers:-(
All the big 3 today and lovely trip to Eagle Watch so a thankyou to John.
As the thunderstorms are travelling up the country at the moment, I remembered that I meant to give this link to Annette.

At the moment I can see lightning strikes from the Isle of Wight up to Watford
Expand the picture to get more detail. It will take about 15 seconds to start loading the strikes initially.
Wendy, I have read your reports from the nests today. Great photographs.
Hi all, just read all your news.
OG - fab pics . Brenda - do hope you will persevere with the noise and that the builders will make good after work has been finished.
AQ - glad you had an easier time with the nannying - you are doing a fantastic job for your dau.
Margo - so lovely to hear from you. As time goes by it must be frustrating to have all those "pin pricks" about your body but you are being so brave. Enjoy the time off with OH, doing what you want to do and eating out, at least it will be a break. Thinking of you.
Managed to sit outside for our Garden Party although the rain clouds were about but it was warm. Dau. has a friend coming up from Stevenage for the weekend so will be entertaining her. Managed to get up to par with the swimming today.
Super pictures from New Horizon of Pluto, its amazing that it has made the journey and now bringing back these amazing pictures from the edge of our galaxy. It makes you wonder what is out there.

Evening all:
Wendyb: Hope your trigger fingers are better (never heard of that conditon before). What is a "steading with PP"??
Margo: Glad your OH is taking a week off - lots of meals out sounds like a plan to me.
Alan: Burns Unit joke made it across the pond some years back (but still good).
Brenda: I love that lightning map!! Thank you!
AQ: Must second Lynette's acknowledgement of the fab job you're doing for your daughter. What a grandma!! :-)
Lynette: Can you believe how detailed those pix are from Pluto? taken from 47,800 miles away! That's some camera. Amazing!
Have a good Friday everyone.
Good morning, all! I had a lovely day at Minsmere yesterday. I didn't actually do anything - it was my induction and I was taken through various things as well as meeting some lovely people (one of whom is a past LG Team member!). They're now working out a role description for me and they'll let me know when I can next go there. Limpy added to the day in typical style by reporting he'd seen a raven on his way up the A12 and then a honey buzzard from the Island Mere hide! Some people have all the luck.
