After the horrendous weather and lack of sightings on the static nest cam on Sunday, we hoped for better yesterday.
The weather was much improved, but we were still on the static nest cam, No sight or sound of any Osprey at all until 12.50pm when Odin landed defending the nest. At just gone 1pm a BTO ringed intruder landed briefly, and then again a few minutes later. Odin gave chase and we didn't see it again. Odin remained very alert with eyes to the sky often after that.
All was quiet until just gone 4pm and EJ landed :) Odin returned and they spent a few minutes together before she retreated to the campost. That was all we saw of EJ today. We heard her calling from the campost though.
Odin started on major nestorations, bringing in some pretty big sticks, and kept going on and off the nest until 10.37pm, so lots of sightings of Odin yesterday.
What will today bring? Fish and a mobile camera please :)

Skydancing!!!! I have sound again. Thanks Jen :)
Someone just landed on the campost. (sound)
Odin has landed, he is looking around wary,
Gone 13.02
I didn't hear it
Odin lands 13.01
13.02 gone
Was he on the look out for an intruder?
13.11 it appears to be raining
Raining and then some by the sound of it Sheila.
Dr's was good. I'm on the mend. :)
The skydancing was brief and distant, and yes I think that there is an intruder hanging around today. Odin is not nestorising but defending today.
Good news your end! I hear absolutely nothing :(
I rang the VC. Jen wasn't there, but they will try to fix it. I can only hear it on my Kindle, for some reason??? PC is all white noise. Someone will have to try again tomorrow.
