After the horrendous weather and lack of sightings on the static nest cam on Sunday, we hoped for better yesterday.
The weather was much improved, but we were still on the static nest cam, No sight or sound of any Osprey at all until 12.50pm when Odin landed defending the nest. At just gone 1pm a BTO ringed intruder landed briefly, and then again a few minutes later. Odin gave chase and we didn't see it again. Odin remained very alert with eyes to the sky often after that.
All was quiet until just gone 4pm and EJ landed :) Odin returned and they spent a few minutes together before she retreated to the campost. That was all we saw of EJ today. We heard her calling from the campost though.
Odin started on major nestorations, bringing in some pretty big sticks, and kept going on and off the nest until 10.37pm, so lots of sightings of Odin yesterday.
What will today bring? Fish and a mobile camera please :)

Osprey seen flying away from the nest. (on the right of the nest.)
Odin flew in from the left
His Gorgeousness is back, and he's formidable:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
What a poser:
He flies off and returns a moment later:
He's gone again.
On and off the nest a few times. I think there's an intruder around again today.
Very alert, eyes to the sky often
I have a Dr's app now. BBL
Hope it goes all right, Moffer.
Take care, MOFFER.
10.56 ENS, breezy and bright
I confess to not having been at the screen 100 percent since my last post, but...Still ENS, and I have to pop out.
Hi all. I'm back
So is Odin, mantling again
After a minute or so he relaxes, but is still looking around very aware. He soon flies toward the camera tree.
