Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

This is exactly where Cerist migrated from in 2013. Happy memories. I hope this year's trio don't all go at the same time - that would be too weird for words. The mass fledge was entertaining enough.

Just read on chat that Monty fought with a heron, which came too near to the nest, at about 4.30pm. Some are saying that the heron could be injured in the grass ??? I don't know.
