Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks Tiger. Yes, I remember many thinking that it should have been Garten but for some reason I seem to remember it mentioned in the blog Roy swithering who to tag but in the end he went with the hatching order. Just to satisfy my own curiosity now, I must find/read that blog again lol
What a shame that so little info has been given Do we know which of the chicks was left on the nest? Was it the youngest? Is there a way to ask for more details? There isn't a comment section after the blog

It was FR2 that was left on the nest. More information may come with the next blog.

Thanks TIGER I knew that I meant which one age wise?
I'm sure from some of Roy's ospreys he went with the heaviest chicks, but yes at LG it has always been the eldest chicks. Maybe it's different if there are only 2 chicks and you are only tagging one.

Unfortunately we do not know that for definite.
Maybe they will do a more detailed blog later today.
In the meantime Lassie is looking out over the loch as the chicks chill out.
One has his head under a siblings tail LOL..

[/quote]We don't know anything apart from the darvic numbers and that two were fitted with trackers. Oh and possible gender of two of them, but they are not sure.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Oh how we miss dear Emma, her reporting was helpful, understanding (of watchers) and full of information, I thought there may have been a newsletter
" behind the scenes "Hmm oh well we will have to wait and hope some more info with data arrives.
Normal nest activity at the moment, major preening session going on with occasional wing stretching.
