WEEKLY CHAT (non-osprey) SUNDAY MAY 24, 2015

Enjoyed ourselves at the party - over 40 people there, some of them not known to us, and the food kept on coming, as did the drinkies, although my OH bravely had only tonic water as one of us had to drive home. I love champagne! Lots of people swapped doggie stories with us, very amusing. Bonnie was asleep in her crate at home. We were only gone for a couple of hours. This morning she ran off with the plastic clip I keep on the bird food bag, and chewed on a couple of plastic flowerpots whilst I hung out my smalls. Yesterday she shredded a newspaper which luckily we had just about read. She's been trying hard to extract the tiny screws which keep the metal door plates in place - the things you put in the doorway where the carpets join. We are trying new dogfood which says its 'vegetables & beef'........ She seems to be ok at present.

Meant to say good evening, I have had a busy day, catching up with food shopping/cleaning/garden tidy up after the birds, topped off by preparing a fish pie, which I find so time consuming, but worth it, the latter whilst watching the FA cup.

Our lovely Canadian neighbour then popped in with a apple pie he had baked, as my OH had cleaned his windows ( due to the birds I feed :( on dear ) so we then invited him to dinner, what a lovely guy and so good to listen to stories from Canada.

So I will now catch up with everyone.
