Hallo all! Thanks for cute photos of various critters. Lots of work in the garden on this side of the pond; don't understand how a simple job can turn into a three-hour pain in the derriere! :-)
Lindybird: Will be interesting to see how things develop following the UK election. Is that Bonnie's "official" old shoe? :-) Good idea to stash her toys in it.
Margo: Not happy to read that you've had a rough time with one more dose to go. Grrrr. Wish I could wish it away!
LizLFW: Not happy news from LG; what a development. Makes me somewhat relieved that I haven't been watching the nest as closely as in the past. :-(
Brenda: How are those next-door plans evolving? Re the osprey, that's the first time I've seen one at that location- a real thrill. Re the brainless thugs; makes me wonder what it would take to make them appreciate the sacrifices made on their (ungrateful) behalfs (behalves??)
dibnlib: I've been missing the gym again, what with dogs to walk, etc., etc., My whole fitness schedule seems to have gone out the window..... :-((
Diane: So glad you're busy with freelance project.
AQ: Have you done the laundry yet? How was the trip?
Have a good Sunday everyone.
Thanks ALAN
AQ - Your nanny days sound far more exhausting than my days with a mad puppy! No wonder your daughter is tired out. Its tiring enough looking after small children without having double trouble! Hope it eases soon as the older girl goes to nursery and then school.
Brenda - my OH stood on the garage roof, which is flat, and is next to the house, attached, and climbed a short ladder to reach the aerials on the chimney of the house. I don't think that even he would climb to the top of the roof! Its a converted bungalow, and we have dormer windows to give us an upper floor. The TV pics seem much better now, so hope that's the end of it - he was annoyed as we usually have a small set on in the dining room whilst we cook & eat dinner, sometimes we catch the news bulletins. Not that much of the News lately has been that good - rather grim around the world.
Off now to do my good deed for the day, a blood donation.
Lindy you are good, last time I went I was unable to donate, I was told that I was anaemic :( I felt fine in myself.
Trying to keep up with LG nest and the garden here, as well as various appointments, meetings etc! Not finding time to post. Next week we are going on a short holiday - only down into Galloway (about 80 miles); not really viable as day trips if we want to see anything there. Intending a day in the forest, a day on the coast and a day in a garden - also hoping to visit Threave Ospreys on the way home. Will be away Monday to Friday.
Best wishes to all - I have been reading most days.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
