Hallo all! Thanks for cute photos of various critters. Lots of work in the garden on this side of the pond; don't understand how a simple job can turn into a three-hour pain in the derriere! :-)
Lindybird: Will be interesting to see how things develop following the UK election. Is that Bonnie's "official" old shoe? :-) Good idea to stash her toys in it.
Margo: Not happy to read that you've had a rough time with one more dose to go. Grrrr. Wish I could wish it away!
LizLFW: Not happy news from LG; what a development. Makes me somewhat relieved that I haven't been watching the nest as closely as in the past. :-(
Brenda: How are those next-door plans evolving? Re the osprey, that's the first time I've seen one at that location- a real thrill. Re the brainless thugs; makes me wonder what it would take to make them appreciate the sacrifices made on their (ungrateful) behalfs (behalves??)
dibnlib: I've been missing the gym again, what with dogs to walk, etc., etc., My whole fitness schedule seems to have gone out the window..... :-((
Diane: So glad you're busy with freelance project.
AQ: Have you done the laundry yet? How was the trip?
Have a good Sunday everyone.
AQ nice to see you back, hope you had a great break.
Dibnib - I see you are having problems with your job, sounds familiar as it has happened with Dau. She felt she was made to feel not part of the team plus a clash of personalities that she resigned and is now looking to work in a school. Going through a transition period at the moment. Do hope things can be resolved with you, good luck.
We had a fantastic day yesterday - wedding of our step-grand-daughter and I will post one or two pics soon.

Glad to hear you had such a good time at the wedding, Lynette. Such joyful occasions, weddings! Welcome back, OG - great that all went well and hope you can now decide what to do next.
Lindybird - she's adorable, lovely pics.
Rita - lovely to hear from you. These virus's can be nasty as we found out last week that our son had a particularly nasty one and was quite poorly with it (and he doesn't do poorly). Kept dosing up so he could be reasonably fit for yesterday (his step-daughters wedding). It gave us a bit of a fright when we learned about it. Do hope that the improvement will carry on and you will be back to your old self soon.
Glad you had a good time down in Manchester, its not a bad place. Well, I must say that as its my home city although I lived about 6 miles out of it.
Hi Diane, Just followed your link. An upsetting article to read. Fishing nets are causing big problems around the world. I know in Europe they are trying to control the size of the nets, which have become vast, and also the spacing of the holes.
Lynette, Looking forward to seeing your photographs. Pleased everything was so enjoyable.
this was the cake - quite quirky . They got engaged in New York after 4 attempts by her OH to pop the question, carrying the ring round in his sock.
just a couple more of St.G.D. wedding.
the Stag lads and bride
Evening all: Yippeee! Odin is back - thank you Clare for letting us know about the new blog. :-))
Rita: That bug seems to be international; everyone here has had something similar. Your granddaughters are gorgeous - what sweeties! And yes please, elevenses for me too. :-)
Tina: Hallo there. Gosh, you bake when stressed? What a wonderful reaction! I usually get some gastrointestinal upset. :-)
dibnlib: Aha! Let us know how things develop. Stick to your guns!
Lynette: Great that you had such a good time at the wedding - love the cake, especially the yellow cab (a very typical NY sight). That's a cute picture of the bride and the boys. Hope your daughter gets settled soon.
Heather: Ooooh, sounds like a lovely day - assume you had some Frenchbwine to help wash down all that yummy food.
OG: Let us know how the mobility shopping worked out.
Diane: Thanks for that link; I've forwarded it on to the Gray Whales project leader.
Mother's Day here today. I got a lovely bunch of flowers from OH and a loud and happy phone call from Arizona with daughter, granddaughter, and great granddaughter all shrieking Happy Mother's Day. It's so nice that daughter and granddaughter can spend it together this year.
Off to check the Daily Update.
Have a good Monday everyone.
